government policy

a government policy describes a course of action, creating a beginning for change. These policies aren’t laws but can influence or lead to creation of them.
pluralism

secular

secularism

multiculturalism

individual identity
individual: a person’s sense of self, including religious ideas, values and beliefs
eg. bar/bat mitzvah/ morning prayer/ shabbat
collective identity
describes the religious beliefs, feelings or ideas of a group of people working towards a common goal, necessary for development of collective identity
what is ecumenism?
is the movement for all christian cultures to become united in their belief in Christ and through faith

Interfaith dialogue
is the meeting of different religions in an environment of freedom and openness. It involves listening to the other and attempting to understand their views while offering your own.
