Individuals, groups, or organizations who have a vested interest in the performance and activities of a business.
Environmental Legislation:
The set of laws that aim to preserve the environment.
Industry Legislation:
Rules that are specific to businesses within a certain industry.
Employment Laws and Regulations:
Rules that govern the relationship between employees and employers.
Council Regulations:
Local government rules made to govern businesses operating in a specific geographic area.
Social Attitudes:
The collective values and beliefs and opinions held by a group of people.
Social Behaviour:
The way people act and respond in various situations.
Target Market:
A specific group of consumers that a business aims its marketing efforts towards.
Economic Conditions:
The current characteristics of a particular area’s economy.
Employment Level:
Measured as the percentage of the labour force who are working in paid employment.
Tax Rate:
The percentage of income or spending that is required to be paid to the government.
Consumer Confidence:
A measure of consumers’ feelings and expectations about current future economic conditions.
Technological Developments:
The invention and innovation of tools that solve problems and enhance processes.
Offshoring:
The practice of moving some of a business’s processes or services to the same or another business located in an overseas country.
Exchange Rate:
The price of one country’s currency, expressed in terms of another country’s currency.
