Minimum Time Before Engine Shutdown After Landing

When do you not retract flaps after landing
If the approach was made in icing conditions or or if the runway / taxiway was contaminated.
When would you select flaps 1 after landing?
If OAT is greater than 38 degrees C.
When do you use brake fans?
When it appears brake temperatures will exceed 400 degrees C.
When must a full stop landing be made?
Once reverse thrust is initiated.
Where must the aircraft land in the touchdown zone?
First 1/3 of the runway but no later than 3000 feet or a go around is required.
When is maximum reverse required?
- Contaminated runway.
- Tailwind
- Prompt from ROPS (runway overrun protection system)
When must idle reverse be reached by?
60 knots
What must you do before starting the 2nd engine on a single engine taxi out?
Turn the hydrault electric Y pump off first.
What do you do if you get a have a fluid leak after engine start?
Run engine at idle for 5 minutes. If leak stops you can proceede as normal. Otherwise, you must have a maintenance write up.
When is single engine taxi not authorized?
- Icing conditions
- Ramp/Taxi is slippery or braking action less than good
- Excessive thrust is required (jet blast)
- Prohibited by ops pages
Engine warm up requirements?
- Engines shut down more than 1.5 hours - run engines 5 minutes
- Engines shut down less than 1.5 hours - run engines 3 minutes
Taxi speeds
- 10 kts in a 90 degree turn
- 30 kts in a straight away
Captain will make all takeoffs when visibility is less than what?
1600 rvr or 1/4 mile
When will PF apply full forward side stick on takeoff?
If crosswind component exceeds 20 kts or any tailwind.
