Q

Benzos and breastfeeding

A

Avoid the long half-life meds like: Valium, Klonopin. Short term use with short half-life like Versed and Ativan may be safer with breastfeeding. May want to pump and dump.

17
Q

BuSpar

A

no data. Short term visteral in small doses may be safer. A non-sedating antihistamine would be better. Ambien is considered safe with breastfeeding.
