Dissociative Amnesia = 1 or more episodes of inability to remember PERSONAL information, usually of a traumatic nature.
TGA = Personal/Biographical information remains intact, but it is a brief period where you have reversible retrograde and anterograde memory loss. Thought to be due to TIA.
What is the time frame difference between Acute Stress Disorder vs Post Traumatic Stress disorder?
Acute Stress Disorder = symptoms within 4 weeks and last no greater than 4 weeks.
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder = symptoms greater than 1 month.
