A small channel that can develop between the end of the bowel and the skin near the anus
Fistulae
A collection of pus which develops near the anus. Most are a result of infection from small anal glands
Abscess
Dilatation of internal venus plexus. Presents with rectal bleeding with streaks of blood on the outside of the turdlettes. May prolapse through the anal verge and undergo thrombosis and inflammation whereupon they become painful
Haemorrhoids
Cancer found in distal one third of anal canal
Squamous cell carcinoma
Cancer in the translational zone of anal canal
Basaloid carcinoma
Cancer arising from proximal section of anal canal
Adenocarcinoma
The anus and anal canal are a rare site for which cancerous condition
Malignant melanoma
