Why is it good to anticipate?
You can avoid problems by slowing down.
Where should you be extra alert and anticipate?
At Junctions.
Drivers may not expect to see a motorcycle which means they pull out so wear bright hi-vis clothing and slow down, scan ahead
At Traffic lights ie if they have been green for some time
Also where there are Crossings, Cyclists, Horses
What is the point of road signs?
To anticipate potential hazards, stay safe and legal.

Give orders

Give Warnings

Give Information

A road that has a central reservation separating the carriageways
