How does donepezil work?
A
Donepezil is a cholinesterase inhibitor. It works by increasing the amount of (acetylcholine) in the brain, which may help reduce the symptoms of dementia in patients with Alzheimer disease.

- GI upset
- loss of appetite / weight loss
- dizziness
- drowsiness
- weakness
- insomnia
- tremor
- QT prolongation (arrhythmias)
