nitrofurantoin for 3d if female or 7d if male

2nd line = co-amoxiclav

Only tx if symptomatic –> use gentamycin –> think: e. coli

in 1st/2nd trimester use Nitrofurantoin (as trimethroprim as an antifolate)
in 3rd dont use nitrofurantoin use trimeth as NF causes haem of newborn
