- No antibiotics for 48 hours if > 6 months
- Otherwise amoxycillin
- Pnemonia
- Mild = amoxycillin (outpatient)
- Moderate = benpen (inpatient)
- Severe = flucloxacillin + third gen cephalosporin
- Consider adding Azithromycin for M. pneuomoniae and other atypicals
- Tonsilitis
- No antibiotics (particularly if < 4 years)
- Or PenV oral

Necrotising fasciitis

- Cellulitis
- Cephalexin - mild (outpatient)
- Flucloxacillin - moderate-severe (inpatient)
- Necrotising fasciitis (GAS, Staph A, S. Pneu)
- Vancomycin + meropenem + clindamycin
- Consider IVIG

- BenPen + third gen cephalosporin
- If suspect abdominal source (not community acquired)
- Amoxycillin + gentamicin + metronidazole
- Over 2 months
- With unknown CSF
- Flucloxacillin + third gen cephalosporin
- Normal CSF
- Flucloxacillin + third gentamicin
- If neutropenic give Tazocin + amikacin
- With unknown CSF
