1. First line
- If penicillin allergic

Community acquired pneumonia

- If patient is penicillin allergic
- If staph is suspected (e.g. in influenza)
- Amoxicillin
- Doxycycline or clarithromycin
- Add flucloxacillin
pneumonia possibly caused by atypical pathogens

- Flucloxacillin
- clarithromycin, erythromycin or doxycycline if penicillin allergic
3. Co-amoxiclav (clarithromycin + metronidazole if penicillin allergic)
Animal or human bite
