Blunt force trauma

A

And injury from a blow with a wide instrument with a flat or round surface yielding a wide area on injury

Results from either compression or shearing forces applies dynamically over a narrow focus. (Knives, axes, instruments with sharp edges)

Injury after death. Damage after death. Breaks in dry bone rarely exhibit radiating fracture lines, they tend to snap like dry twigs when impacted by a force.
