I- Palmar aponeurosis
A- Flexion of hand
Inn- Median nerve (C6, C7)
Flexor carpi radialis
O- Medial epicondyle of humerus (common flexor tendon)
I- Base of second metacarpal and possibly third metacarpal
A- Flexion and abduction (radial deviation) of hand
Inn- Median nerve (C6, C7)
Flexor carpi ulnaris
O- Medial epicondyle of humerus (common flexor tendon); proximal two thirds of posterior surface of ulna
I- Pisiform bone
A- Flexion and adduction (ulnar deviation) of hand
Inn- Ulnar nerve (C8, T1)
Flexor digitorum superficialis
O- Medial epicondule of humerus (common flexor tendon); medial aspect of coronoid process of ulna; proximal half of radius distal to radial tuberosity
I- Base of middle phalanx of each of four fingers (medial four digits)
A- Flexion of middle phalanx of each of four fingers (medial four digits); with continued action, flexion of each proximal phalanz; aids in flexion of hand
Flexor digitorum profundus
O- Anterior medial surfaces of proximal two thirds of ulna; interosseous membrane; aponeurosis of flexor carpi ullnaris
I- Distal phalanx of each of the four fingers (medial four digits)
A- Flexion of distal phalanx of each of the four fingers (medial four digits); with continued action flexion of the middle proximal phanlanges; aids in flexion of hand
Inn- Median and ulnar nerves (C8, T1)
Flexor pollicis longus
O- anterior surface of middle half of radius; adjacent interosseous membrane
I- Distal phalanx of thumb
A- Flexion of distal phalanx of thumb
Inn- Median nerve (C8, T1)
Pronator quadratus
O- Distal fourth of ulna
I- Distal part of radius
A pronation of forearm
Inn- Median nerve
