1) They protested to Berlin
2) France had internal political crisis. Didn’t have government at the time of Anschluss.
3) People didn’t have faith in league of nations after Abyssinia
4) Britain thought German reunion with Austria was inevitable.

2) French had 2 treaties with Czech but they argued that Czech couldn’t be defended.
