A

total ankle replacement vs ankle fusion
- manchester-oxford foot questionaire
- 50-85yrs old
- 1 yr follow up
- both similar improve function
- TAR - risk of wound problems and nerve injury
- Fusion - DVT and non-union (7%) risk
- limitation - heterogenicity of implants and surgical techniques
