What are Ciliated columnar epithelium?

A

Where absorption and secretion occur, tall epithelial cells are present. In the respiratory tract, this tissue also has cilia that are hair-like objects on the surfaces of epithelial cells. This epithelium is called ciliated columnar epithelium.

What is muscle tissue?

A

Muscular tissue consists of elongated cells, also called muscle fibers. This tissue is responsible for movement in our body. Muscles contain special proteins called contractile proteins, which contract and relax to cause movement.
