Abuse

• To treat in a harmful, injurious, or offensive way

• The state or quality of being cruel

Identify a Positive, A Negative, and a Misconception for Animal Research
Positive - Can create medicines for animals.
Negative - Can be cruel
Misconception - They abuse and mistreat the animals. (Not true because there are laws in place to prevent that).
Explain why as a society why we have different viewpoints on viewing different animals
We have different viewpoints with different animals because we have closer bonds with house pets than we do with farm animals or animals in a slaughterhouse. We care about the animals we are close with while the animals we aren’t close with, we don’t care about.
