A
  • Patient has Fixen Coronary Artery (pain associated with Incr. Myocardial Demand)
  • Substernal Pain

-Radiation (LA/L. neck)

  • At Basal State = Ok
  • NG relieves (decr. VR –> decr. Cardiac Work)

Unstable Angina

A
  • Increasing Freq + intensity of pain precipitated by progressively less exertion
  • more intense + longer lasting than Stable Angina

Cause:

  • Disruption of Plaque
  • Superimposed Partial Thrombus
  • Vasospasm
