Where are the Andes?
A
Down the edge of South America, passing through 6 countries starting in Columbia in the north and finishing in Chile and Argentina.

How are fold mountains formed?
A
The fold mountains of the Andes were formed when the Nazca plate was sub-ducted below the South American plate. The South American plate was crumpled and forced upwards creating fold mountains and an ocean trench in the sub-duction zone.

Tourism, farming, HEP (Hydro-electric Power) and Mining(tin, silver and gold).
