They were fimiliar with the way of life and they were able to adapt to the enviroment. Traveling somewhere else would be too difficult

THey learned what crops would grow and raised animals that would help with work and provide food and clothing.
How is the Altiplano different from the other parts of the Andes mountaions?
THe Altiplano is flat land while other parts of the Andes mountaions are mountaionous peaks.

They wove the reeds to make small boats

Rivers that flowed into the lake provided fish and fresh water. it had a mild climate and the river was a source of transportation

The climate was moderate, the soil was good for crops, and the Lake provided transportation
