Zeus (Jupiter)
God of the sea, personifying the domain of deep, primal emotions
Poseidon (Neptune)
God of the underworld, the realm of the unconscious, the soul, and the invisible.
Hades (Pluto)
Sun god and law giver. The embodiment of a logical mind maintaining an objective distance.
Apollo
The messenger god. A communicator, traveler, diplomat, and quick-witted trickster
Hermes (Mercury)
The lame-footed god of the forge and craftsmanship. Rejected by his father Zeus and hopelessly in love with Aphrodite, he was also a creative genius who worked in solitude
Hephaestus (Vulcan)
God of wine and ecstasy associated with mystical experiences
Dionysus (Bacchus)
God of war. Also a passionate lover, he was known for his intensity, impulsiveness, hot-hotheadedness and physical prowess
Ares (Mars)
Goddess of the hunt and the moon, associated with untamed nature. She personified an independent and achievement-oriented spirit.
Artemis (Diana)
Goddess of wisdom and craft- the “dutiful daughter” of Zeus. She was logical, self-assured, and ruled by her head rather than her heart
Athena (Minerva)
Goddess of the hearth. Embodies patience, steadiness, wholeness, and a sense of peace on solitude.
Hestia (Vesta)
Goddess of marriage, queen of the Gods, and jealous wife of Zeus. She represented a vulnerable women who placed loyalty to her husband above all else.
Hera (Juno)
Goddess of grain who preside over bountiful harvests. The ultimate symbol of Motherhood- she was dedicated solely to her children
Demeter (Ceres)
The quiet maiden queen of the underworld known for passivity, complacency and certain degree of neediness
Persephone (Proserpina)
Goddess of love and beauty. Associated with sexuality, sensuality, and creative energy.
