Commencement Bay General Anchorage -

Answer 1

Extends south off the north shore of Commencement Bay, west of Hylebos Watereay. Beginning aprox .1 south of Tyee Marina and extending south about .25nm, eastern boundry is inline with the E end of Tyee Marina and th western boundry is North of the middle waterway.
8-50 fathoms, mud
Wreck and submerged obstruction reported by NW corner.

Large ships regularly anchor

Answer 2

in Commencement Bay outside of the general anchorage; between the mouth of the Blair and Sitcum waterways and off the Middle Waterway.
40 fathoms, mud.
