- General Anchorages
General Anchorages: None on this chartlet.
- Days Island Lagoon and Days Island.
A small-boat channel, 1 foot deep, leads into Days Island Lagoon. Local boats anchor in 3 feet in the lagoon. Anchorage for small-craft may be had E of the N end of Days Island.
- Tanglewood Island
A good small-craft anchorage is on either side of Tanglewood Island in Hale Passage.
- Wollochet Bay
The upper part is narrow and shoal. It affords an anchorage in midchannel about 0.3 mile inside the entrance in 11 to 12 fathoms, sticky bottom.
- Carr Inlet
Carr Inlet - Good anchorage is available in the upper reaches in 6 to 15 fathoms, soft bottom, and in several small coves on its S and E shores.
- Filucy Bay
Good anchorage in 7 to 8 fathoms, mud.
- Steilacoom
Steilacoom - anchorage may be had along the waterfront close inshore, but it is not recommended as the holding ground is poor and the currents have considerable velocity.
- Thompson Cove
Thompson Cove on the W side of Lyle Point, Anderson Island, is a cable area and should not be used as an anchorage.
- Oro Bay
Most of the bay is shallow; it affords an indifferent anchorage in about 10 fathoms, but is affected by the currents and affords little protection. A small shallow arm extends about 1 mile NW on the W side of the bay and is marked by private buoys. An anchorage for small craft is here.
- Henderson Inlet
Henderson Inlet - Good anchorage is inside the entrance in 5 to 6 fathoms, muddy bottom.
- McMicken Island
McMicken Island, Case Inlet - Anchorage with a rocky bottom and protection from S winds on the NW side of the island.
- N of Harstine Island
Good anchorage may be had anywhere N of Harstine Island, in 6 to 15 fathoms, muddy bottom.
- Eld Inlet
Eld Inlet, locally known as Mud Bay, immediately W of Budd Inlet, affords good anchorage inside the entrance in 24 to 42 feet, soft bottom.
- Budd Inlet
Budd Inlet – Good anchorage anywhere inside the entrance in muddy bottom, depths to 25 feet.
