Days Island Anch–
small craft anchorage E of N end of island.
Days Island Lagoon Anch –
depth 3’, anchorage for local boats, channel favors Days I side 30yds from shore.
Tanglewood Island Anch –
good for small craft on either side of island in Hale Pass.
Wollochet Bay Anch -
small inlet, 2 miles long, extends N from Hale Pass, N part is narrow with shoal. 11-12fa, sticky bottom.
Carr Inlet Anch
– good anchorage in upper reaches and small coves in S and E shores, 6-15 fa, soft bottom.
Filucy Bay Anch
– W shore opposite Balch, 7-8 fa, mud.
Steilacoom Anch
– anchor close to shore, not recommended, poor holding, strong current.
Thompson Cove Anch –
W side of Lyle at Anderson I, no anchoring, has cable area.
Oro Bay Anch –
SE Anderson I, between Cole Pt and Lyle Pt, mostly shallow, 10 fa, has current with little protection. Small arm on W side of bay with private buoys is an anchorage for small craft.
Henderson Inlet anch –
good, 5-6 fa, mud.
McMicken I anch
– in Case Inlet, rocky bottom, NW side of island protects from S wind.
Harstine I anch –
good N of island, 6-15fa, mud.
Eld Inlet anch–
good, 24-42’, soft bottom, W of Budd Inlet known locally as Mud Bay.
Budd Inlet anch –
good anywhere, 25’, mud.
