CORACOBRACHILAIS
O- apex of the coracoid process

BICEPS BRACHII
O- long head –> tubercle above glenoid fossa. Supraglenoid tubercle of the scapula

I- radial tuberosity
A- flexion of elbow
BRACHIALIS
O- anterior aspect of the humerus and adjacent inter muscular septae
I- tuberosity of the ulna
flexes arm
BRACHORADIALIS
O- lateral supracondylar ridge
I- lateral surface of the radius above styloid process
A- pronation and flexion of elbow
TRICEPS
O: long head–> infraglenoid tubercle
medial head –> lower part of posterior surface of humerus
lateral head –> upper part of posterior surface of humerus
I: posterior surface olecranon of ulna
I: radial nerve C6-C8
A: extension of the elbow
SUPRASPINATUS
O- medial 2/3 of the supraspinatus fossa of the scapula and the deep fascia that covers the muscle
I- most superior facet on the greater tubercle of the humerus
abducts the arm
INFRASPINATUS
o- medial 2/3 of the infraspinatus fossa of the scapula and the deep fascia that covers the msucle
I- middle facet on posterior surface of the greater tubercle of the humerus- stability
externally rotates the arm
TERES MINOR
O- upper part of lateral border of the scapula
I- lower most facet on the posterior surface of the greater tubercle of the humerus
externally rotates the arm
SUBSCAPULARIS
o- medial 2/3 of sub scapular fossa
I- lesser tubercle of humerus
internally/medially rotates the arm
ANCONEUS
O: lateral epicondyle of humerus
I: olecranon and upper part of ulnar shaft
I: radial nerve C7,C8
A: extends the elbow
SUPINATOR
O- superficial part –? lateral epicondyle of humerus
radial collateral and angular ligaments
deep part –> supinator crest of the ulna
I- lateral surface of radius superior to the anterior oblique line
A- supinates the forearm
PRONATOR TERES
O- humeral head –> medial epicondyle and supraepicondylar ridge of the humerus
ulnar head –> medial side of corned process of ulna
I- roughening on lateral surface, mid shaft of radius
A- pronates forearm
assists elbow flexion
PECTORALIS MINOR
O- anterior surfaces ad superior borders of ribs 3,4,5 and from deep fascia overlying the related intercostal spaces I- coracoid process of scapula A- pulls tip of shoulder down protracts and medial rotates the scapula accessory muscle of inspiration
LEVATOR SCAPULAE
o- transverse processes of C1,2, 3 ad 4 vertebrae and posterior tubercles of transverse processes of C3 and C4 vertebrae
I- posterior surface f medial border of scapula t the root of the spine of the scapula
A- elevation and medial rotation of scapula
UPPER FIBRES OF TRAPEZIUS
O- superior nuchal line and external occipital bone
medial margin of the ligament nuchae
spinous processes of C7 to T12 and the related supraspinous ligaments
I- superior edge of the crest of the spine of the scapula
acromion, posterior border of lateral 1/3 of clavicle
Elevates shoulder girdle
ERECTOR SPINAE
O- sacrum
