Which lymph nodes do the ovaries drain into?

What are the fallopian tubes?
Muscular tubes which connect the ovaries to the uterus

Ciliated columnar epithelium

Describe how a uterus normally lies in the body
Anteverted with regard to the vagina
Anteflexed with regard to the cervix
What does anteverted mean?
Rotated forward towards anterior surface of the body
What does anteflexed mean?
Flexed towards the anterior surface of the body
What are the 3 layers of the uterine wall?
Perimetrium - continuous with the peritoneum
Myometrium - thick layer of smooth muscle
Endometrium - innermost layer
