What attaches to lesser tubercle of humerus?
Subscapularis and transverse humeral ligament
Where is lesser tubercle of hunerus located?
Anterior aspect of proximal end. Anterior medial to greater tubercle.
What muscles attach to greater tubercle of humerus?
Supraspinitus, infraspinatus, teres minor
What is located in the articulation area of the humerus?
Trochlear, capitulum
What is located in the non-articular area of the humerus?
Medial and lateral epicondyles, coronoid, Oke Rabin and radial fossa
What is the name of the ligament that wraps around the head of the radius?
Annular ligament
What does the fovea (articulate facet of radius) articulate with?
Capitulum, forming the humeroradial joint
What are the two facets that make up the distal articulate surfaces for the carpal bones?
Lunate articular facet and scaphoid articular facet
Describe where you would find the radial styloid process?
Distal, inferolateral radius
Describe where you would find the radial styloid process?
Distal, inferolateral radius
What attaches to the styloid process of radius?
Brachioradialis, radial collateral ligament and radioscaphocapitate
What ligament prevents superior dislocation of the shoulder?
Coracoacromial
What ligament holds the long head of the bicep tendon in the inter-tubercular groove?
Transverse humeral
What are the two parts of the coracoclavicular ligament?
Conoid and trapezoid
Where does the conoid tubercle attach?
Conoid tubercles of clavicle to upper surface of coracoid process
