Anatomy III part 2 Flashcards
m.tibialis cranialis
O: lateral condyle and crest of tibia
I: medial side on os tarsi mt. I and mt. I-II
m.peroneus longus
O: tibia´s lateral condyle, head of fibula, lateral collateral ligament
I: os tari 4-5, extend to all metatarsal bones plantar surface
m.peroneus brevis
O: laterally on distal third of fibula
I: base Mt. V
m.extensor digitorum longus
O: fossa extensoria on lateral femoral condyle
I: distal phalanx digits II-V
m.extensor digitorum lateralis
O: proximal third of fibula
I: digit V distal phalanx
m.extensor digiti I.hallucis longus
O: middle third of fibula
I: radiates into fascia over join of digit II
m. gastocnemius
O: medaial and later supracondylar tuberosity of femur, (caput medial/caput lateral)
I: tuber calcanei (as part of tuber calcanei tendon)
Tendo calcaneus communis
3 parts:
- tendo m.gastrocnemii (m.gastrocnemius)
- tendo m. plantaris (ex. m.extensor dig.suoerficiale)
- tendo accessorius (lateral: m. biceps femoris, medial: m.gracillis and m.semitendinosus
as tendon widen (galea calcanea)
m.flexor dig. superficiale
O: fossa supracondylare of femur, partly fused with m. gastrocnemii
I: its plantar tendon turns from medial to lateral direction around common calcanea tendon , on the surface of tuber calcanei it makes a cap galea calcanea, then finally attaches to middle phalanx digits II-V on plantar surface
M. popliteus
O: fossa m.poplitei, lateral femoral condyle
I: twist caudally under lig. collaterals lateral, then insert caudally on proximal part of tibia, on line m.poplitei
m. flexor digitorum profundus
O: lateral part: proximal caudal half of fibula, proximal caudolateral border of tibia and from interosseous membrane. Medial: stars cause-proximally from tibia, below tarsus the two parts unite.
I: plantar surface of distal phalanx dig II-V
tarsal flexor and digital extensor nerves
Common fibular nerve, last terminating branches of Sciatic nerve, passes over lateral head of m.gstrocnemii, divide into deep and superficial
superficial fibular nerve
lies caudally to the fibulas longus muscle, forms the dorsal common digital nerves innervating the paw
Deep fibular nerve
runs with cranial tibial artery, lie between the cranial tibial muscle and the long digital extensor muscle, forms the dorsal common digital nerve, innervating the paw
tarsal extensor and digital flexor veins
cranial tibial artery (branch of popliteal artery), runs with deep fibular nerve, continues past the hook and dorsal pedal artery
