Anatomy Flashcards
N1 Lymph Nodes
- Intrapulomnary or segmental nodes
- lobar nodes
3 . interlobar nodes - hilar nodes
Hilar Nodes
lie in the depths of the interlobar fissure on each to side and constitute a lymphatic sump of each lung as the lymphatic sump of borrie
N2 Lymph Nodes
- Anterior Mediastinal nodes
- Posterior Mediastinal
- Tracheobronchial
- Paratracheal L.N.
Anterior Mediastinal Group
located in assoc. with upper surface of pericardium, phrenic nerves, ligamentum arteriosum, left innominate vein
Posterior Mediastinal Group
para esophageal lymph nodes with the inferior pulmonary ligament, and more superiorly, between the esophagus and trachea near the azygous vein
Tracheobronchial L.N.
three subgroups that are located near the bifurcation of the trachea. These include the subcarinal nodes, which lie in the obtuse angle between the trachea and each main stem bronchus, and the nodes that lay anterior to the lower end of the trachea.
Paratracheal
located in proximity to the trachea in the superior mediastinum. Those on the right side form a chain with the tracheobronchial nodes inferiorly and with some of the deep cervical nodes above (scalene lymph nodes).
