- Extends from 2nd rib to 6th rib
- From sternal edge to mid axillary line
2
Q
Deep boundary of the breast
A
- Posterior capsule lying on the pec major / serratus anterior
- Thickened continuation of Scarpa’s fascia posterior to the breast

Q
Breast lymphatics
A
- Run deep to the capsule in submammary space to:

A
- Lateral thoracic A/V + internal thoracic A/V
- Some venous drainage via posterior intercostal V, which communicates w/ the internal vertebral plexus -> vertebral metastatic spread
6
Q

A
I = below the lower/lateral edge of pec minor
II = behind/deep to pec minor
III = above/medial pec minor
