Superior and inferior vena cava.

A
Deoxygenated as the venae cavae are returning systemic blood which is going to the lungs (via the right side of the heart) for oxygenation.

A
Aorta.

Pulmonary trunk.

What was the fossa ovalis in foetal life?
A
Foramen ovale. An opening in the foetus to allow blood to pass straight from the right atrium into the left atrium to avoid passing the lungs.
