What is the arterial supply to the lungs, how many are there and where to they arise?
Bronchial arteries
Two left from the thoracic aorta
One right from the intercostal arteries

What to the bronchial arteries anastamose with?
Pulmonary artery

What is the venous drainage of the lungs?
The azygous veins
Where is the azygous vein situated?
On the right side of the vertebral column
What drainage veins are situated on the left hand side of the vertebral column?
Accesory azygous
Hemiazygous

What does the azygous vein link together?
IVC and SVC
What is the cisterna chyli?
Origin of the thoracic trunk which opens up into the left subclavian

What are the lobes of the lungs and what are the fissures?
Right - Upper, middle, lower
Horizontal and oblique
Left - Upper, lingular, lower
Oblique
What does the azygous vein drain?
Posterior wall of thorax and abdomen
