How does subcapsular plexus of thyroid drain
To delphian nodes , paratracheal and nodes along superior and inferior thyroid veins ( level VI ) first . Then to II,III,IV,V&VII
Non recurrent nerve ?
2 % of the rln are non recurrent and enters the tracheoesophageal groove from above
The point at which rln is most prone for injury during surgery
Berry ligament ( a condensation of pretracheal fascia) , at the cricothyroid joint
BEAHRS TRIANGLE
Formed by RLN , carotid artery and inferior thyroid artery
