A
Acute Exertional Compartment Syndrome = characterized by a rise in pressure within a closed fascial space in the absence of a specific traumatic event

Chronic Pain vs Acute Pain
A
Chronic pain occurs slowly over time and last longer.
Acute Pain happens quickly and goes away when there is no cause.

A
Rhabdomyolysis= A breakdown of muscle tissue that releases a damaging protein into the blood.

Signs of Rhabdomyolysis
A
Pain in muscles, muscle cramping, whole body fatigue, body aches dark urine or insufficient urine production.
Can cause kidney damage.
