What are the main parts of the nervous system?
What are they stimulating?
The nervous system has two parts:
Central nervous system (CNS):
Brain & Spinal Cord
Peripheral nervous system (PNS):
Somatic NS = voluntary/movement
Autonomic NS = involuntary
Within the autonomic there are three subsections:
Enteric: gastrointestinal
Sympathetic: fight or flight response
Parasympathetic: rest & digest
What are the planes of movement?
Explain each one .
Sagittal: Extension & Flection
-divides the body into left and right
Coronal: Abduction & Adduction
-divides the body into front and back
Transverse: Internal & External Rotation
-divides the body into upper and lower
What are the four main parts of the shoulder girdle?
Sternum
Clavicle
Scapula
Humorous
What is the hip girdle made up of?
Parts:
Femur
Pelvic Bone
Sacrum
