Distal
Farther from the origin of a body part or the point of attachment of a limb to the body trunk
Superficial (external)
Toward or at the body surface
Deep (internal)
Away from the body surface; more internal

Frontal - front and back parts of the body
Cavities
Spaces within the body that are closed to the outside and contain internal organs.
Dorsal Cavities
The cavities at the back side of the body
- Cranial cavity
- Vertebral cavity
Ventral Cavity
The cavities at the front side of the body
- Thoracic cavity
- Diaphragm
- Abdominal cavity
- Pelvic cavity
Ventral Body Cavities Serous Membrane
