the standard position used to describe the locations and relationships of anatomical parts on the body

What are the 3 key characteristics of the anatomical position?
A
- upright position with hands/feet/eyes/toes pointing forward
- feet together and arms slightly out to the side
- forearms are fully supinated (palms are facing forward)

- anterior/posterior
- superior/inferior
- medical/lateral
- proximal/distal

front/back
