describe the anatomical position
the subject stands erectfacing the observer, with the head level and the eyes facing directly foward. the lower limbs are parallel and tge feet are flat on the floor and directed foward, and the upper limbs are at the sides with the palms turned fowqard,

what are the major regions of the human body?
head, neck, trunk, upper limbs and lower limbs
describe the componenets of each region and its role.
the head: consists of the skull and the face. skull encloses and protects brian whilst the face is the front portion of the head including eyes, nose, mouth, forehead, cheeks and chin.
neck: supports the head and attaches it to trunk
trunk: consists of chest, abdomen and pelvis.
upper limbs attach to trunk and consist of shoulder, armpit, arm, forearm, wriist and hand.
lower limbs attach to the trunk and consit of buttock, thigh, leg, ankle and foot.
define the groin:
the area on the front surface of the body marked by a crease on each side where the trunk attaches to the thighs.

the portion of the upper limb from the shoulder to the elbow
define forearm?
the portion of the upper limb from the elbow to the wrist.
what does the cephalic region refer to ?
