Straightening a joint or increasing the angle between two bones

Extending a joint beyong normal range of mtion
Adduction
Moving a body part toward the midline of the body
Abduction

Turning arm or foot downward (palm or sole -down)
Supination
Turning arm or foot upward (sole/palm points upward)
Retraction

Raising a part

Ankle movement pointing foot downward
Radial Deviation
Movement of the wrist towards the radius or lateral side
Ulnar deviation
Movement of the wrist towards the ulnar or medial side

Movement of the thumb across the palm of the hand.
