Vertex

The most inferior border of the mandible in the mid-sagittal plane

The most posterior point on the spinous process of the seventh cervical vertebra

The notch formed by the superior border of the sternal notch in the mid-sagittal plane
Acromiale
The most superior and lateral point of the acromion process when the subject is standing erect with arms relaxed and hanging vertically
Mesosternale
Point located over the body of the sternum at the intersection of the mid-sagittal plane and the transverse plane at the mid-level of the fourth chondrosternal articulation
Thelion

Point on the anterior surface of the trunk at the intersection of the mid-sagittal and transverse planes through the most inferior point of the tenth ribs
Omphalion
This is the midpoint of the navel (umbilicus)
Radiale
The point at the proximal and lateral border of the head of the radius
Gluteale
The point where at the sacrococcygeal fusion in the mid sagittal plane
Approx level with the greater trochanter of the femur
Tibiale Mediale
The most superior and medial aspect of the medial tibial epicondyle
Metacarpale radiale
The most lateral aspect of the distal head of the second metacarpal of the outstretched hand
Metacarpale ulnare
The most medial aspect on the distal head of the fifth metacarpal of the outstretched hand

Most distal border of the medial malleolus of the tibia

The most distal tip of the malleolar laterale (fibularis)

Most posterior point on the calcaneus (heel) when subject is standing
Acropodion
Most anterior point on the toe of the foot when the subject is standing
Metatarsale tibiale
Most medial point on the head of the first metatarsal of the foot when the subject is standing
Metatarsale fibulare
Most lateral point on head of the fifth metatarsal of the foot when subject is standing
Stylion
Most distal point of the styloid process (wrist bones) of the radius
Dactylion
Most distal point of the middle finger when the arm is hanging and the fingers are stretched out
