Q

what disagreements are there between egoists and mutualists over how the state should be abolished

A

egoists such as max stirner believe that to abolish the state individuals need to make their own decision to boycott institutions and rise above them with will make the state crumble away due to no one using them.
for example not voting

muturalists such as proudhon however believe that a collective approach should be taken as to work together due to human nature being communist new insitutions shoul dbe created above the old ones

disagreements between collectivsts on private property

A

all agree that private property is oppressive but disagree on the extent to which common ownership should be used

kropotkin argues that ‘all shouls belong to all’

Q

what are individualist’s views on human nature?

A

16
Q

disagreemnts between individualists as to what liberty looks like

A

egoists such as stirner ague that autnomy is key. and therefore people will operate by engaging volentarily in egoist associations which arent collaberative but are used by everyone’s personal gain (unions of egoists)

however anarch capitalists such as sorel argue that the liberty wll be when humans have the opporunity to have atomisitc indivdualism to compete and invest inthe free market without a state controlling it

17
Q

collectivists view on human nature

A

agree with individualists that human nature is rational but also co-operative. humans are naturally collaborative and the state drives wedges in between people by making people compete agianst eachother with corrupts human nature thats why you need no state

18
Q

differences between collectivies as to what liberty looks like

A

proudhon would argue that individuals have the freedom to chose if they want to form co-operative groups or not

whereas bakinin argues that individuals will always 100% choose to make co-operative groups without any disparaties due to human anture being so communist

kropotkin has a more radical view that freedom is the creation of volentary communes that are governed by direct democracy that live as one rather than groups these are whole communities who are completely collaperative.
‘all is for all’

19
Q

what different view does goldman have on what liberty looks like

A

goldman argues that freedom is being free form gender stereotypes and ‘refusing to be a servant to the state and husbands’

20
Q

what do individualists argue that the society will look like after the state is abolished

A

egosits believe that society will be a place where individuals are free to assert their won rational individualism in the world

wehreas anarcho capitalistics argue that society will be a unregulated free amrket which allows for people to buy and sell goods and allows private investors to start schools ect

21
Q

what to collectivists argue that society will look like after satte rejected (anarchy is order)

A

mutualists like proudhon argue that people will be free to join small groups in society that are collaberative but they may opt out if they wish

bakinin argues that due to the collaberative human nature people will 100% make mutually beneficial gorups

kroptkin however beleives that communes of mutual aid will crop up where instead of small groups whole communities live together and have all shared property such as christania
