Describe the project or situation that best demonstrates your analytical abilities. What was your
role?
Situation. Purchasing vehicles in a time when it is hard to get chassis. With long and longer lead times if they are not ordered on time or when planned to then we have to keep old not so reliable trucks
Task. As the chief i am responsible for the proper appropriation of the capitol outlay funds and make sure the firefighters have the proper equipment to do their job
Action. Gather data, determine which trucks can be pushed back and which are immediate needs. Present to commissioners for approval.
Result. Never been turned down, which builds trust between myself the county administrator and the 5 commissioners that are the fire board who oversees the fire districts
