A
Lidocaine or bupivacaine (has a longer duration of action)

What are some of the general IV anaesthesia
A
Propofol- rapid recovery, low hangover effect
Thiopental- rapid onset, fat soluble so longer hangover effect
Etomidate- rapid recover, no hangover effect
Ketamine- less hypotension- slow recovery, high psychoactive side effects

A
Volatile liquids (isoflurane, desflurane, sevoflurane) and nitrous oxide
