A

Most common cause macrocyclic anaemia
Deficiency vit B12, folic acid, both
B12 deficiency also neurological symptoms
Inc. pernicious anaemia
Can be caused by gastric bypass, reduced absorption

A

Lack of intrinsic factor
So can’t absorb vit B12
Due to autoimmune vs parietal cells, or vs IF itself
