A

- Stable vital signs
- The ability to eat/drink normally
- BGL > 60
- To be awake/alert with appropriate behavior
- Have a responsible person can remain with the patient

- Status (i.e. seizure lasting > 5 minutes or multiple seizures without return to normal consciousness)
- Hypoglycemia
- Hypoxemia
- Preceding head trauma

- Unconscious or decreased LOC
- SBP > 200 or DBP > 110
- Hypotension or bradycardia
- Seizures
- Severe headache / vomiting
- Uncontrolled airway / respiratory problems
- Progression of stroke symptoms
- LAMS 4 or 5
