thick skinned, covered in wart like bumps, oval shaped glands over the shoulders
Canadian Toad
full of warts, fairly long hind limbs with no toe pad
Northern Cricket Frog
green to brown in dorsal colour, large dark circular spots on its back, sides, and legs
Northern Leopard Frog
yellow/brown, olive, or brown skin, laterally flattened tail
Eastern Newt
smooth brown or tan skin, has rows of square dark brown spots on its back with a light belly. patches of bright yellow or orange on the inside of its thighs
Pickerel Frog
long slender bodies, long tail. grey or black body with a red/orange stripe going from the head to the tail
Eastern Red-Backed Salamander
body is bluish black on top and grey on the bottom. two rows of yellow/orange spots running from head to tail. twelve coastal grooves
Spotted Salamander
rusty brown, or grey brown colour with greyish sides. it is sometimes speckled with black & bluish spots
Four-toed Salamander
tan/brown in colour with dark lines that form an “X” on their backs, large toe pads for climbing
