Repatha
This is a drug made in Amgen that lowers LDL levels in people with high LDL levels. Repatha does this by targeting the protein PCSK9. PCSK9 binds to LDL receptors and prevents them from cycling back to the cell surface. Repatha by binding to PCSK9 inhibits its function and causes LDL receptor to cycle back to the cell surface. Hence LDL in the blood can be lowered.
Enbrel
