What does nomadic mean?
Nomadic means a group of people or one person constantly travelling from place to place and never settling down.
What were the Great Plains like?
The Great Plains were grassy and very hot. There was very little water and no trees or hedges for miles. Also there were a lot of dessert storms e.g. Tornados and twisters.
Who were the Plains Indians.
The Plains Indians were the native group of people and were a nomadic race always moving. The did not farm but hunted for buffalo.
What use was the buffalo towards the Plains Indians.
The buffalo was the main source of income for the Indians there life depended on them, e.g. They used it for food, clothing, shelter, weapons, daily objects (like bags).
Why did the White Americans not like the Indians.
They did t like them because the Americans as a race were farmers and they had settled down. Also they wanted superiority over there lands, because of the gold that was on them.
When was the gold rush.

What were the issues with the gold rush.
It meant that thousands of people would have to cross Indian land which led to arguments and violence between the two groups.
What’s manifest destiny.
The thought that God wanted the white Americans to take the USA (specifically the west) and make it productive and civilised.
What’s a pull factor.
A pull factor is some thing that’s drive you towards your destination e.g. Like when you move house your new ones next to the beach.
What’s a push factor.
Something that drives you away from your location and towards your destination, e.g. You live next to the sewers.

Why did homesteaders have arguments with the cattle ranches.
Because when cattle drives went over there ,and they left diseases and ruined crop
