A

British citizens consented to taxes through representatives in Parliament. Colonists had no representation in Parliament. They argued they couldn’t be taxes because of that. Had leadership, aid, land knowledge, and motivation.

A

Nat Turner’s slave rebellion. Took revenge on their owners and killed them. Led slaved being killed even if they didn’t participate. The scientific revolution was a new way of thinking about the natural world. The enlightenment helped with new ideas. With the American revolution they thought they could start their own to get freed. The Atlantic slave trade was when Africans were shipped to the Americas from Europe.
