Employed to establish or maintain contact with the enemy force when the definite location is unknown.
-Will avoid decisive engagement with the enemy.
What is the purpose of an Ambush Patrol?
A surprise attack from a concealed position on a moving or a temporary halted target. An ambush needs not seize or hold ground.
